Who Am I is in beta — details may change.
Gameplay
Read the clue
A vague opening clue appears. If you already know who it is, type their name
— no command.
Watch the clues stack
Each new clue narrows it down — but the bounty drops with every clue that
drops.
How the clue staircase works
The round starts vague and sharpens one clue at a time — so the reward is highest when you can name the persona off the least information.- One clue at a time. Up to five guessing clues stack from vague to specific; the sixth clue is the name itself, shown only on the reveal.
- Earlier is worth more. A call on the first clue scores 6, dropping to 2 by the fifth.
- First correct wins. Names match loosely — the full name or a distinctive part counts (“tom brady” and “brady” both win; bare “tom” doesn’t).
Configuration
| Option | Values | Default |
|---|---|---|
| Clue timer | 3–60s | 10s |
| Unblur image with clues | on / off | Off |
| Clue gift | a gift that drops the next clue | Off until set |
Layout
- Marquee — game title and how-to hint.
- Round + gift strip — round number, and the clue gift when configured.
- Clue stack — the clues revealed so far, newest on top.
- Guess pill — the live count of guesses this round.
- Leaderboard — players ranked by total points.
Gifts
Who Am I’s gift drops the next clue — it helps the whole room close in, and (like the host advancing the staircase) it lowers the bounty for the next winner. It’s off unless the host sets it.- Sending the configured gift advances the clue staircase by one step for everyone.
- It’s cooperative: it never names the persona, it just reveals the next clue sooner — the round is still won by the first correct guess.
Scoring
- Points are awarded by the clue step at the solve: 6 → 2 from the first clue to the fifth.
- The highest total across the rounds wins; ties are shipped as co-winners.
- Points feed the per-streamer tally behind avatar ring tiers. Wins are tracked per streamer.
