Who Wants to be a Big Giftor is in beta — details may change.
A Millionaire-style hot seat. One contestant — pulled from the !play queue and picked by the streamer — climbs a 15-rung diamond ladder, answering one multiple-choice question at a time. Every rung raises the prize; a wrong answer drops back to the last safe rung. Lifelines, some classic and some gift-powered, are there when a question stumps them.

Gameplay

1

Take the chair

Chatters type !play to join the queue; the streamer picks who sits in the hot seat.
2

Answer A / B / C / D

Each question locks in one answer, then reveals. Right climbs a rung; wrong drops to the last safe rung.
3

Climb or walk away

Keep going for a bigger prize, or walk away to bank the current rung before risking it.

How the ladder works

The prize grows with every rung, but so does the fall — until you pass a safe rung, which locks in a floor you can’t drop below.
A 15-rung prize ladder rising from 100 to 1M diamonds, with safe rungs marked at 1k and 32k and the contestant partway up
  • Fifteen rungs. The prize climbs from 100 diamonds to 1M across the ladder, one question per rung.
  • Two safe rungs. Clear the 1k and 32k rungs and that prize is locked — a later wrong answer drops you to the safe rung below, never to zero.
  • Walk away anytime. Stop before answering to keep the rung you’re on; a wrong answer instead of walking risks the drop.

Lifelines

Each classic lifeline can be used once: 50:50 (removes two wrong answers), Phone-a-Friend, and Ask the Audience (a chat poll). On top of those, gift-powered lifelines let the room intervene:
  • Skip question — swap the current question for a fresh one at the same rung.
  • Double down — raise the stakes on the current question.
  • Insta-win — award the rung outright.

Layout

Labeled layout of the Who Wants to be a Big Giftor play surface
  1. Marquee — game title and how-to hint.
  2. Contestant — who’s currently in the hot seat.
  3. Question board — the prompt and the A / B / C / D options.
  4. Gift lifelines — the gift-triggered helps and the classic lifelines.
  5. Prize ladder — the 15 rungs, with the current rung and safe rungs marked.
  6. Queue — chatters waiting via !play.
The game moves through Lobby → Question → Locked → Revealed → Finished, with detours into the audience poll and phone-a-friend when those lifelines are used.

Gifts

Who Wants to be a Big Giftor’s gifts power lifelines the room can trigger for the contestant:
  • Skip question swaps the current question for another at the same rung.
  • Double down raises the stakes on the current question.
  • Insta-win awards the current rung outright.
They’re off unless the host maps them, and they put the chat in the game — the contestant answers, but the room can rescue or gamble on their behalf.

Scoring

  • The contestant’s result is the rung they bank: climb to the top for the full 1M, walk away to keep the current rung, or fall to the last safe rung on a wrong answer.
  • Because there’s one contestant per game, this is a hot-seat spotlight rather than a chat-wide leaderboard — the payoff is how high the room can push their champion.
  • Wins are tracked per streamer and feed the same leaderboard tiers as the rest of the library.
