# Countdown

> Count down to your next stream, drop, or special event

The Countdown block ticks down to a moment you set — a stream, a drop, a
release — in days, hours, minutes, and seconds.

## Settings

* **Title** — what you're counting down to.
* **Target date & time** — the moment the countdown runs to. It updates
  live and disappears once the time passes.

## Tips

* Great for hyping a launch or a return stream.
* To show a list of dated events instead of a single moment, use the
  [Schedule](/pages/blocks/schedule) block.
